THE ANHARMONIC OSCILLATOR AND DOROCZY-TSALLIS STATISTICS IN THE LOW
TEMPERATURE LIMIT

By allowing for quartic corrections to the Hamiltonian of the harmonic oscillator we
study the effect that these corrections have on the thermal energy of an anharmonic
oscillator within the context of Doroczy-Tsallis statistics in the low temperature limit.
