Electron injection was carried out in single crystals of KCl doped with KBr under constant temperature for different fields. The injection current and optical density were measured as functions of time. The process was stopped arbitrarily. An analytical theory has been worked out and the growth coefficient (k) has been found to behave in an anomalous way in describing the detrapping process.
