The Brillouin-Wigner-Feenberg perturbation theory has been applied to a many-body fermion system, an electron gas at high density. The correlation energy has been calculated. An approximative expression of the term frs, is also derived. In our approximation, the calculated value of the constant f is equal to 0.8184.
