ON THE STUDY OF INCLUSIVE REACTIONS INDUCED BY LIGHT-HEAVY IONS

A major progress in the understanding of nuclear dynamics in light-particle induced
reactions was made with the development of the theories of pre-equilibrium phenomena which
led to a unified and comprehensive description of the reaction mechanisms. Is this
possible also in the case of heavy-ion reactions? This paper addresses this question and
shows a few results which have been obtained in a comprehensive study of light-ion induced
reactions.
