QUARK OFF-SHELLNESS IN K, B®gg DECAYS

We demonstrate the importance of the quark off-shellness on examples of the radiative pseudoscalar meson decays, characterized by the simplest hadronic matrix elements. We point out that roughly a quarter of the empirical KL®gg amplitude originates in the quark off-shellness in kaon. For BS®gg we also find non-negligible contributions that increase the decay rate by a factor of 1.5 to 3.
