IONISATION OF HYDROGENIC IONS BY ANTIPROTON IMPACT

Ionisation of hydrogenic ions by impact of antiprotons have been studied at collision
energies varying from 2 to 2000 keV/amu. Total and double-differential cross-sections are
calculated employing a final state wave function which incorporates distortion due to
Coulomb fields of both the projectile and the target nucleus. The present calculated
values are compared with the existing theoretical predictions.
