A new class of exact solutions of Einstein's field equations with bulk
viscous fluid for an locally rotationally symmetric Bianchi type-I spacetime is
obtained by using a variable deceleration parameter. We have described three
cases, depending on the different forms of deceleration parameter, in which six
models of the universe are obtained. The value of Hubble's constant H0
is found to be less than unity for these models which are of the physical
interest. Some physical and geometric properties of the models are also
discussed.
