STATUS OF ATLAS DETECTOR COMMISSIONING

ATLAS is one of the four detector systems currently under construction at the
Large Hadron Collider at CERN. It is scheduled to commence physics data taking
for proton-proton collisions in the early summer of 2008. This paper reviews the
status of the detector, the installation of individual subdetector components
