A COMPARATIVE STUDY ON THE BREAK-UP OF DEUTERONS BY ALPHA PARTICLES

Experimental triple correlation cross-sections in the reaction d+a® a+ p + n, have been analyzed following different approaches, in the framework of single level R-matrix theory (RM). Concentrating on the spectra dominated by a-neutron final-state-interaction (an FSI), a rather large amount of data have been investigated. Fits due to existing Faddeev type calculations have been compared and relative merits discussed.
